Eula Devlin

Candler-Eula Mae Holder Devlin, age 90 died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Hominy Valley Retirement Center. She was a daughter of the late Abb R. and Ethel Lee Tiller Holder. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband Hugh Earley and her 2nd husband Charlie Devlin, sons Vernon H. Earley and Mitchell Earley, sister, Mary Wilson, and brothers, Henry Lee, Troy, Ralph and Gerald Holder. She was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Ann Earley of Decatur, AL and Olga Earley of Candler, one step-son Hugh Earley, Jr., of Canton, two sisters, Polly Reno and her husband Dan of Clyde and Thelma Sams of West Blocton, AL, three brothers, Ray Holder and his wife Mary and L. B. Holder, all of Canton, and Jack Edwards "Bud" Holder of Tampa, FL, 6 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services. Reverend Jack W. Collins will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
