Eula Farley

Waynesville, Eula Mae Wyatt Farley, age 85, of 39 Spruce Street, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Lula Belle Robinson Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Price; a sister, Jewel Jones; a brother, John H. Wyatt, Jr.; and one granddaughter, Sharon Price. Eula first and foremost loved spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping and boating at Lakes Chatuge and Fontana. She was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church. For 31 years, she was an administrative assistant at Anderson Automotive and was co-owner of Hazelwood Truck Service. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward Farley; a daughter, JoAnn Messer and husband, Bobby, of Clyde; one brother, Carroll "Sonny Boy" Wyatt and his wife, Willie Mae, of the Spring Creek Community; two grandchildren, Joel Price and his wife, Keri, and Krissy Price and fiancé, Charlie Deaver; step granddaughter, Lacey O'Neill and husband, Jarrett; and two step great-grandchildren, Dillon and Kassi O'Neill. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Downs officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and at other times, at the residence.
