Eva Gaddis

"1924 – 2015" Canton – Eva Mae Mehaffey Gaddis, age 90, passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2015 at Pigeon Valley Rest Home. A native of Blount County, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late William Pearly and Elsie Inman Mehaffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wallace Gaddis, who died in 1986 and a grandson, Shane Gaddis. Eva Mae was a member of Canton First Baptist Church and co-owner of Gaddis Heating and Plumbing Company where she worked as office manager. She is survived by a son, Robert Wallace Gaddis, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Anderson, South Carolina; one grandchild, Shawn Gaddis; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Anthony Shane Gaddis. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend James A. Meadows officiating.
