Eva Williams

Waynesville, Eva Rhinehart Williams, 87, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at her residence. Born and raised in Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Derry and Gurly Sitton Rhinehart and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Williams, who died in 2000. Eva loved her gardens and enjoyed raising vegetables and flowers. In her spare time, she liked to put puzzles together. Surving Eva are her daughters, Bonnie Beattie of Vineland, New Jersey and Carol Ray and her husband, Steve, of Waynesville; three sisters, Patricia Mull, Georgia Early and Mary Phillips, all of Waynesville; one brother, Michael Rhinehart of Canton; five grandchildren, Georgette Huntley, Frank, John and Dawn Reynolds and Gina Davis; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Revord officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
