Evelyn Penley

Evelyn B. Penley, 84, of Asheville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27th. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Dorothy Webb Banks.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lathen Penley; daughter, Judy P. Browning; sister, Eloise Bradshaw and brother, Ralph Banks.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis (Sandra) Penley of Candler and Larry A. (Glenda) Penley of Asheville; siblings, Bill Banks of Barnardsville, and Lillian (Earl) Penley of Oteen; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Evelyn loved her Lord, her Sunday School class at Biltmore Holiness Temple, her family and home with lots of flowers and garden. She in turn was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
