Waynesville, Fannie Mauldin Inman, age 70, of 58 Poindexter Road, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 4, 2010. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Roy J. and Louvena Miller Mauldin Brown. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. Inman, who died in 2002; a sister, Louise Lush; and two brother-in-laws, John Jordan and Herbert Lush. She was an award-winning beautician at Red Carpet Beauty Salon in Jacksonville, Florida where she worked before returning to North Carolina in 1969. She is survived by a sister, Grace Jordan Jameson and her husband, G.W., of Waynesville; a special niece, Sandra Kay Knight and her husband, Thomas, of Maggie Valley; several other nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles; and a very good friend, Kenneth Broom. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Deitz and Reverend G.W. Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Inman Chapel Cemetery in the Bethel community. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Harry Lipham for all his years of caring for Fannie.
