Felicia Parker

Waynesville, Felicia Marie Parker, age 23, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Robert Lee "Jake" and Angie Marie Parker. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Forest Parker, Sr. and Anna Mae Parker; paternal uncle, Carroll Parker; maternal great-grandparents; Wade and Edith Shipman. Felicia had a deep love for her daughter, and will be remembered for being a sweet and loving person. During her younger years she enjoyed cheerleading. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Lilia Parker; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Shipman; one sister, Jessica Parker, of Waynesville; one brother, Jacob Parker, of Waynesville; three paternal uncles, Forrest Parker, of Durham, Ronnie Parker, of Waynesville, William Parker, and his wife, Angie, of Maiden, North Carolina; two maternal aunts, Rachel Parker and Emily Parker, both of Waynesville, a maternal uncle, Alan Parker, of Waynesville. Special cousins Cassidy, Malachi and Envy Parker and a paternal great uncle, Herschel Cole. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
