Frances Church

Frances Russell Church, age 57, died on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Pauline Patton Russell of Waynesville and the late Perry Russell. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joe Church; two sisters, Nancy Henson and her husband, Harold and Jo Ann Henson all of Canton; three brothers, Carroll Russell and his wife, Shirley, of Canton, Hugh Russell and his wife, Vicki, and Skipper Russell all of Waynesville; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Riley Covin and Reverend Dr. Perry Brindley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Clinic of Haywood County, 34 Sims Circle, Waynesville, NC 28786.
