Frances Fowler

Waynesville Frances Lebrada "Brenda" Caldwell Fowler, age 69, of 29 Grape Leaf Drive, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of Hayden and Ruby Wright Caldwell and wife of the late Clyde Lee Fowler, Jr., who died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Jeffrey Dewayne Ruff, 2 sisters, Hazel Shuler and Peggy Inman. During her life Brenda enjoyed working at Ammons Drive-In and was the owner of Fowler's Produce in Hazelwood. She enjoyed fishing, had a huge heart for her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, James Ruff and his wife, Patricia of Waynesville; three daughters, Rhonda Mitchell and Kathy Michell and her husband, Brad all of Waynesville; and Crystal Swayney and her husband James of Cherokee; two sisters, Mary Sue Moody of Canton and Minnie Lee Killian of Murphy; two brothers, Cecil Caldwell and Robert Caldwell of Waynesville; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. No services are planned.
