Frances Harn

"Humble Servant"

Waynesville, Frances Plott Harn, age 87, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at her residence.

A native and life-long resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Cora Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fred Harn; a daughter, Martha Plott Moody; a son, David Plott; and a brother, James Hugh Cunningham. Frances was a Dayco retiree and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family, church family and her cats.

Frances is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Rose Plott; four grandchildren, Chris Bolin, Shannon Plott (Rissy), Shane Plott (Carolyn) and Nathan Grant (Elaine); seven great-grandchildren, Cory (Ananda), Alex, Jesse and Tyler Plott, Sunshine Hicks (Travis), Bea and Jordan Grant; and two great-great-grandchildren, Sage Hicks and Winston Plott.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend David Childers officiating. Inurnment will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
