Frances Henson

Frances Ann Henson, age 72, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Memorial Campus – Mission Hospitals. A native of Haywood County and resident of Leicester since 1993, she was a daughter of the late Jud and Annie Wilson Henson. Frances was a Bethel High School graduate. She worked at Enka Manufacturing, Sally's Beauty Supply, and as manager of the Caribou Club. Frances was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church but she attended Starnes Cove Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Norma Jean Henson, and Peggy Woody and her husband, Neal, all of Leicester; one brother, Charles Henson and his wife, Juanita, of Raleigh; niece, Sophia and Doug Pine and their sons, Nathan and Zachary, nephew, David and Gina Woody and their son, Davey, nephew, Jason and Brandi Woody and their children, Judson and Jaycee, nephew, William and Kristen Henson and their son, Dashiell, niece, Anne and Mike King and their children, Aaron, Ethan, and Emma, and niece, AJ Henson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2011 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Charlie Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
