Frances Wright

Frances Elliott Wright, age 86, passed away on Friday, July 05, 2013 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late J.L. and Carrie Coleman Elliott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy G. Wright, who died in 2010, and a son, Mike Wright, who died in 2005. Frances worked at American Enka Corporation and was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and is survived by two daughters, Diane Allen and Donna Villazon and her husband, Michael, all of Canton; one son, Jerry Wright and his wife, Vickie, of Canton; one sister, Mary Jo Cairnes of Canton; one brother, Wayne Elliott of Waynesville; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2013 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jason Miller and Reverend Roy Houston officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
