FRANK EDWARD CRAWFORD

Maitland, FL-Frank Edward Crawford, age 72, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at his residence in Maitland, Florida.

He was a native of Buncombe County and had presided in Maitland, Florida since 1952. He was a retired banker and served on the USS New Jersey battleship during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerry Mashburn Crawford who died in 1989.

He is survived by his son, Scott Crawford, of Brevard County, FL; a daughter, Brooke Lee, of Orlando, FL; his parents, Frank and Opal Bryson Crawford of Asheville; a brother, Bruce Crawford, of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Meghan Crawford of Asheville, Steele Jones and Stone Lee, both of Orlando, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at Enka Baptist Church, Enka, NC with Reverend Ron Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am. prior to the service at the church.

Interment services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Waynesville, NC with Dr. Robert Garren officiating.
