Frank Stuart

Frank Carrol Stuart, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late William Walter and Welzie Isedore Carr Stuart. He was owner and operator of Stuart and Daughters Concrete and attended the Waynesville Church of God. Frank enjoyed raising horses, cows, and game chickens. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Cogburn Stuart; five daughters, Patricia Medford of Candler, Phyliss Cogburn of Aniston, Alabama, Teresa Messer of Candler, Cindy McCurry of Candler, and Kathy Stines of Candler; two sisters, Pauline Hollifield of Swannanoa and Dorothy Dockery of West Asheville; a brother, Clarence Stuart of West Asheville; eight grandchildren; and six great-granddaughters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Reverend Mark Lamm officiating and Reverend David Clark praying.
