Frankie Robinson

Canton - Frankie Jo Daves Robinson, age 75, formerly of Stuart Street died Friday, June 6, 2003 at Autumn Care.

She was a native of Jackson County and had resided in Haywood County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Roby and Dessie Bryson Daves. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde M. Robinson, who died in 1977 and two brothers, Ray and Gerald Daves.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Banks and her husband, Terry of Port St. Lucie, FL; two sons, Melvin Robinson and his wife, Donna and Arthur and his fiancé, Cathy Saunders all of Canton; three sisters, Edith Gillett and Nancy West and her husband, J.T. all of Canton and Jean Daves of Orlando, FL as well as six grandchildren and four great-children.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverends Brian Bird and James Huey officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
