Gailanne Keidel

Waynesville, Gailanne Gilak Keidel, age 58, of 75 Deep Woods Court, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011 at her residence. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, and former resident of Aurora, Ohio and the Florida Keys, she had resided in Haywood County for the past five years. She was the daughter of Irene Pistone Flora of Englewood, Florida and the late Albert Gilak. She was a former employee of Coulter Electronics. Gailanne loved her home in the mountains and quickly became friends with many residents. She truly loved the simple things of life and had a special love for her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kenneth C. "Ken" Keidel; one daughter, Kristi Keidel Seybolt and her husband, Lt. Commander Eric Seybolt, of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Michael Gilak and his wife, Marilyn, of Ravenna, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Kassidy and Kaleb Seybolt, also of Jacksonville, Florida. A service and celebration of life for Mrs. Keidel will be held at a later date in Islamorada, Florida.
