Garrett Bryant

Waynesville-Garrett Bryant, age 51, of Macs Lane, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was a native of Logan, West Virginia, a former resident of Illinois, and lived in Haywood County for the past three years. He was the son of the late Columbus and Lula Nester Bryant. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Strickland Bryant of Chicago, Illinois; his step-father and step-mother, Russell and Marie White, of Clyde; two sons, Gary Edward Bryant of Eldorado, Illinois and Randy Lee White of Joliet, Illinois; four sisters, Lula Faye Seahuffer of Joliet, Illinois, Vicky Mychell White of Iowa, Giareene Hasseler of Clyde, and Tonya Lyne Wiederholtz of Asheville; one brother, Curtis Bryant of Elyria, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Woody Cemetery in Spring Creek with the Reverend Ronald Allen officiating. The pallbearers will be Bobby Joe and William Sutton, Marty, Gene and Martin Davis, and Stanley Ledford. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Waynesville is in charge of arrangements.
