Gene Pless

Lenoir Eugene Pless, age 54, died on Friday, October 29, 2010, at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Louise Frady Pless and the late Thomas Lenoir Pless. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Katy Limbo Pless, who he married on July 12, 1996; their daughter, Cassandra Raye Pless of the home, and his daughter, Traci Surrett (Dallas); three sisters, Maria Byrd (Kenneth), Debra L. Johnson (Charles), and Amy Limbo; a brother, Wayne Pless (Deb); many special nieces and nephews including, Stacey and Matt Janney and their children and Wes and Denise Limbo and their son; and three granddaughters, Brittany, Hayley, and Teri Jean Surrett. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2010, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Joe Yelton officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Raflatac Maintenance and Engineering Departments.
