Geneva Davis

Waynesville-Geneva L. Davis, age 74, of Camp Branch Road, died Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Brian Center of Waynesville. She was a native of Florida and had spent her summers in Haywood County for the last 40 years. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Sherman, James, Lewis, and Arthur Lee Davis, and two sisters Lottie Bell Graham and Dorothy Hayes. Mrs. Davis was a farmer and a member of New Covenant Church in Clyde. She enjoyed working with children. She is survived by one son Richard Davis and his wife, Julie, of Waynesville and three grandchildren, Brandon Christopher Davis, Fareign Kira Davis and Mary Elizabeth Davis. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2006 at New Covenant Church with Reverend Nick Honerkamp and Reverend Brian Cagle officiating. Memorials may be made to New Covenant Church Building Fund, 767 Lee Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
