Waynesville, Geneva Allison Stevenson, age 75, of Iron Duff Road, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the home of her son. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Conard Allison; her husband of 58 years, Floyd Lee Stevenson, who also died in 2015; two sisters, Barbara Hahn and Helen Allison; and three brothers, Claude, Robert and Thomas Allison. A 1958 graduate of Waynesville Township High School, she retired from BASF with more than 43 years of service and also worked at Sam's Mart for 10 years. She was a member of Cove Creek Baptist Church. Geneva is survived by a daughter, Brenda Thomas (Bill) of Cleveland, Tennessee; a son, Eddie Stevenson (Janice) of Waynesville; a sister, Scarlette Heatherly (Randy); six grandchildren, Micah Thompson (Jamie), Nicole Samuelson (Tommy), Nathan Hartgrove (Taylor), Dereak Owen (Crystal) and Tara and Brian Stevenson; eight great-grandchildren, Dakota and Dylan Bishop, Ava, Karee and Garren Thompson, Elliott and Malachi Hartgrove, and Zavith and Zaiden Owen, Courtney Hawkins (Matt) and Jessica Samuelson; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kristin Martin (Connor), Leslie Thomas, and Brittany Wolfe (Derrick.) Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson and Reverend Gary Putnam officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
