George Rhinehart

George Baxter Rhinehart, age 63, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of Edna Long Rhinehart of Canton and the late James Wesley Rhinehart. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Eugene Rhinehart. He was employed with Blue Ridge Paper Products and a member of Waynesville First United Methodist Church. He was a United States Army veteran. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Freida Fugate Rhinehart of Lake Junaluska; a daughter, Crystal Hardin and her husband, Scott, of Simpsonville, SC; a son, Jeff Rhinehart and his wife, Lisa, of Nashville, TN; a sister, Brenda Mancini of Canton; a brother, Richard Rhinehart of Canton; and a grandson, Tyler. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. W. Lyn Sorrells and Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
