George Rhodarmer

George Ray Rhodarmer, age 82, formerly of Canton, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Chunns Cove Assisted Living Center. He was a native and had lived most of his life in Haywood County. He was a son of the late W. Clayton and Lillian West Rhodarmer. Ray was a United States Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater and was formerly employed by Champion International. He is survived by two sisters; Lyda R. Hopper of Ridgecrest, CA, and Mary Ann Weisgerber of Sumner, WA, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Morning Star Cemetery with Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
