Georgia Crawford

Georgia Crawford, age 91, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Canton Christian Convalescent Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was preceded in death by her parents, Colbert and Ninnie McElroy Crawford; a sister, Robbie Crawford Ray; two brothers, Erastus and Burnette Crawford. She had been an employee of Dayco Corporation and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by a brother, Wallace Crawford and his wife Edna of Waynesville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 542 Iron Duff Road, Waynesville, NC 28785.
