Spring Creek, Georgia Lee Fish Moore, age 83, went home to be with the Lord Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Clevis and Hattie Lee Fish. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Denver Moore, who died in 1990; six brothers, Orville, Edwin, Goal, Lewis, Lloyd, and Floyd Fish and one sister, Jessie Justice. Mrs. Moore was a member of Ball City Baptist Church. She loved to cook and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Edda Payne and her husband, Lee of Spring Creek, Doris Shetley and her husband, Dennis of Marshall and Gary Moore and his wife, Janet of Spring Creek; six grandchildren, Tonia Tolar, Edward Payne and his wife, April, Bobby Payne and his wife, D.J., Chris and Marty Shetley and Jeanie Moore; eight great grandchildren, Kaylee Payne, September and Dakota Watford, Colton and Mason Payne, Nikki and Brandon Conard and Dylan Shetley. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2008 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Sprouse and Reverend Elbert Deason officiating. Burial will follow in the Woody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Edward and Bobby Payne, Chris and Marty Shetley, Mike Davis, Bruce Moore and Jeanie Moore and great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
