Gerald Wiggins

Canton – Gerald David Wiggins, 78, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at his residence.

Gerald was a son of the late Millard Franklin and Helen Keitha Pardue Wiggins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wiggins, who passed away in 1991 and a brother, Jerry Wiggins.  Gerald loved to fish, hunt, work in his yard, observe the birds and squirrels and watch his grandchildren do what they love:  play ball, karate and other hobbies.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gail Davis Wiggins; a daughter, Lavonda Moffitt (Chip) and Cathy Taylor (Travis), all of Canton; and three grandchildren, Allen Moffitt (Salina), Jordan “Jo” Taylor and Jackson Taylor.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Donnie Henson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
