Geraldine Ford

Geraldine Browning Ford, age 71, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Edna Swanger Browning. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Kenneth Charles Browning. In addition to her husband of 55 years, Charles W. Ford, she is survived by two daughters, Lynn House and her husband, George of Canton and (Doris) Ann Parkey and her husband, Harold of Candler; four brothers, William "Blue", Frederick Ollis and James Carroll Browning all of NJ and Glenn Browning of Canton and three grandchildren, Wendy, Jeffrey and Jennifer House. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Matt Pruett officiating. Burial will follow at Old Thickety Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
