Giles Ellis, Iii

Giles Milton Ellis, III, age 63, of 170 Planters Creek Road, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at his residence. He was a native of Washington, DC and the son of the Giles M. Ellis, Jr. and the late Mary Lou Reed Ellis. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Leah Marie Ellis. He retired from Ballard's Appliance as a sales manager with 23 years of service. He was an avid golfer and loved to attend the Masters each year with his father. In addition to his father and stepmother, Frances Ellis, he is survived by his wife of four years, Sandra Kay Ellis; a daughter, Angela Brown and her husband, Stephen, of Leicester; a stepson, Scott Harris and his wife, Deb, of Hendersonville; two brothers, Robert Ellis and his wife, Susan, of N. Augusta, SC and Kenneth Ellis of Augusta, GA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend W. O. Henson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
