Gladys Cogburn

Clyde-Gladys Pressley Cogburn-91 formerly of Canton, died Thursday, December 26, 2002 at Britthaven of Clyde.

She was a native of Monroe Co., TN but had lived most of her life in Haywood County. She was a daughter of the late Matthew and Jamie Brooster Pressley. She was also preceded in death by three children, Vera, Wade and Bobby Cogburn.

She is survived by four daughters, Katherine Clontz, Mickey Rathbone, Louise and Wanda Cogburn all of Canton, two sons, Teddy and Tony Cogburn both of Canton, one sister, Grace Snyder of Indiana, 15 grandchildren and 4 step-granchildren, several great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2002 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
