Gladys Price

Gladys L. Leaser Cawood Price, 96 years, formerly of Asheville, NC passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Monroe, MI. She was born June 14, 1918 in Oak Harbor, OH Gladys to the late Robert C. and Effie L. (Immel) Leaser. Gladys was a wonderful homemaker and a talented artist. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. Gladys was loved by family and friends. She had a very humorous personality and a smile that would brighten anyone's day.

On May 12, 1956 she married Floyd J. Price. Sadly he preceded her in death on December 12, 1994. In addition to her husband and parents Gladys was preceded in death by a son James Cawood; grandsons, Michael Fanola and James Sheets; granddaughter, Bonnie Jean England; brother, Robert Leaser and sister, Bernice Beck.

Gladys is survived by two daughters: Janice L. (Michael) Fanola of Monroe and Lana J. Ohmer of Orange Park, FL. Four grandchildren: Bill and Keith Sheets, Cindy England Hurst and Terry England Hastings, and many great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, July 19th in the Chapel of Faith, Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with the family receiving friends in the chapel from 1-3:00PM. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
