Glen Pressley

Glen Elwood Pressley, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at The Homestead. A native of Summit County, Ohio, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Michelle Tamasovich Pressley. He was a son of the late Glen Edward Pressley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Pressley. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding his Harley, Cleveland Browns, Ohio State, and Tarheels. Glen was a member of the Moose Lodge #759 in Ohio and he organized the Magic Riders motorcycle organization. Glen was a United States Army veteran. He was a strong courageous man who finally lost his 14 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother Vera Holland Robirds and husband (William), Six Mile, South Carolina; one daughter, Wendy Vandergriff of Willoughby, Ohio; two sons, Glen Michael and Justin Robert Pressley, both of Norton, Ohio; four sisters, Linda Heatherly (Arlen), Canton, Dorothy Inette Baer (Tim) Clinton, Ohio, Mary Boynton (John) Omaha, Nebraska, and Kim Sutton and a brother-in-law, Scott Sutton, both of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren, Devin Kennedy, Haley, Savannah, Cassandra, and Peyton Pressley, all of Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with the Reverend Alan Blanton officiating. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
