Glenn Rinehart

May 15, 1948 — October 30, 2016

Herman Glenn Rinehart, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Herman Cambel and Carrie Hannah Rinehart. Glenn worked as a truck driver for 43 years and he enjoyed going to horse shows, walking horses, and NASCAR. He is survived by a daughter, Shannon Pierce of Georgetown, Kentucky; one son, Tony Rinehart of Georgia; one sister, Sandy Rinehart of Candler; one brother Gerald Rinehart of Candler; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Beaverdam Free Will Baptist Church on Wise Road in Candler with the Reverend Kelvin Mosley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
