Canton - Glenna Miller Hill, 91, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late W. Jesse and Dora Crawford Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a beloved son, David Lee Hill; beloved son-in-law, Jerry Ellis; and a sister, Jolene Miller Warren. Glenna loved to read, color, draw, and play games such as Sudoku. She loved working in her flowers until she was unable to do so.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Carroll Lee Hill; four children, Sandra Ellis, Joe Hill (Wanda), Earl and Jeffrey Hill; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

We love you and will always miss you, but we have lots of great memories and will see you again one day.

The family will hold a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m. on March 3, 2018 at her residence, 108 High Street in Canton.
