Glenna Stiles

Glenna Warren Stiles, age 73, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Joyce and Norma Phibbs Warren. Mrs. Stiles was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved her family and grandchildren dearly. In addition to her husband of 57 years, H. Don Stiles, she is survived by a daughter, Norma Warren and her husband, Edwin, of Canton; two sons, Ward R. Stiles and his wife, Glena, of Candler, and Warren Lee Stiles of Canton; a brother, Gene "Sonny" Warren and his wife, Ann, of Franklin; and four grandchildren, Meredith and Laurel Stiles, and Jonah and Jacob Warren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Lowder officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jonah and Jacob Warren, Joe Brookshire, Don Smathers, Tom Hyatt, Jim Swafford, Bill Hudson, and Tom Boone. Memorials may be made to Haywood County Rescue Squad, P. O.
