Gordon Gregory

Canton - Gordon Dean Gregory, age 69, died Sunday, November 18, 2007, at Canton Christian Convalescent Center. He was a native of Macon County and the son of the late Joseph Edward and Ellie Wood Gregory. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He is survived by four sisters, Edna Mae Norris of Greenville, SC, Inez Inman of Bozoo, WV, Evelyn Inman of Canton, and Glee Moore of Waynesville; three brothers, Eugene Gregory of Sylva, and Wendell and Joe Gregory both of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Ensley officiating. Burial will follow at Center Pigeon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of Evelyn Inman at 54 McCracken Road.
