Grace Davis

Grace Sexton Davis 'Anna Laura', 89, of Candler, passed away at her home on Monday, January 9th, with her loving family at her side. She was a daughter of the late Hugh Allen and Martha Jane Lamb Sexton. She was a member of the Candler Church of God, serving as a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years, pianist, choir member and in the Ladies Ministry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lewis Burnette; daughter, Barbara Nell Slania; son, Pete Clontz and brothers, Clarence, Kenneth and Jack Sexton.
She is survived by her husband, Roy M. Davis; daughter, Billie Louise McCoy and husband, Kelly of Candler; sons, William Hugh Burnette and wife, Jeane, of Candler and Larry Thomas Burnette, and wife Tracie of Gulfport, MS; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 12th in the Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith. The Reverends Andrew Russo and Dennis Thurman will officiate. The family will receive friends in the chapel on Thursday from Noon until 2:00PM. Her grandsons, Terry, John and Chris McCoy, Rick and Daniel Banks and Todd Burnette will be pallbearers.
