Grace Erwin

Grace Frady Erwin, age 82, of the Bethel Community died Friday, October 17, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Carey and Rhetta Henry Frady. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nola Rich and Frances Frady and four brothers, Hugh, Claude, Lamar and Jesse Frady.

She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Troy Erwin of Canton, she is survived by two sons, Ed Erwin and his wife, Jennifer of Lake Logan and Mike Erwin of Waynesville; two sisters, Katy Chambers and Hazel Sorrells both of Bethel; two grandchildren, Greg and Gracie Erwin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 20th at Riverside Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Odom and Reverend James Parham officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Riverside Baptist Church, 2171 Lake Logan Road, Waynesville, NC 28786.
