Greg Sorrells

Greg T. Sorrells, age 48, died on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of Robert Edward Sorrells of Canton and the late Thelma Hannah Sorrells. In addition to his father, he is survived by his lifelong partner, Tina Boyd of Candler and a brother, Keith Edward Sorrells of Shelby. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jesse Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at the home of his father, Robert Sorrells, 131 Harkins Avenue.
