Gregory Warren

Gregory Dean Warren, 59, of Candler, went home to the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He was born in the mountains of Asheville, the son of Buddy and Marcella Dills Warren. Dean loved being a mountain man, spending time outdoors with his family whether hunting or fishing was a blessing. His power of prayer was a calling from God. Dean could fix anything and would always help anyone that needed it. He was a member, Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Dean loved his work and was proud that he was able to work with his sons. He was a loving son, husband, father and Papaw.
Dean is preceded in death by his father, Buddy Grant Warren and brother, Robert Warren.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Jean Carver Warren; mother, Marcella Dills Warren; children, Jonathon (Cynthia) Warren, Becky (JD) Warren Gipe, Nick Warren and Jacob (Joanna) Warren; grandchildren, Faith "his beloved Rosebud" , Heather "his saving grace", Samuel "Papaw's fishing buddy" , Hannah "sweet Hannah", MaryBeth "his little Becky" and Harper and McKynlie "Papaws Honeys"; and siblings, Jennifer, Sharon, Randy and Mike.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 19 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Candler with Rev. Bobby Winebarger officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
