Grover Parham

Grover Posey Parham of Jenkins Road died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Ernie and Gertrude Worley Parham. He retired from the Town of Canton with 25 years of service and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Parham and a brother, Roy Parham of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Beaverdam Baptist Church with the Reverend Gene Worley and Reverend Ronnie Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Pallbearers will be Tommy, Keith, and Ricky Latulipe, Leroy and Jerry Worley, and Thomas Parker. At other times, the family will be at 35 Jenkins Road, Canton, NC.
