Hannah Mccracken

Hannah Duckett McCracken, age 90, of 110 Hugh McCracken Road, died Friday, February 11, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native of and had lived in Haywood County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late James R. and Lola Hill Duckett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Love McCracken who died in 1982. At the time of his death, Mr. & Mrs. McCracken had been married for 48 years. She was also preceded in death by four sisters and a brother. She was of the Baptist faith and was active in Haywood County Home Demonstration. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and making draperies. She is survived by three daughters, Jayne Rhinehart and her husband, Ray of Clyde, Kittie Smart and her husband, Bob of Clyde and Teresa Chason and her husband, David of Canton; two sons, Dan T. McCracken and his wife, Judy of Clyde and Bob McCracken and his wife, Judie of Reidsville, NC; two sisters, Phoebe Huffman and Pearl Carswell both of Canton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend James F. Parham and Reverend Randy Tingle officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the services at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wesley Smart, Tim Keller, Chad and Sean McCracken, Kim Palmer and Joe Lee Byers. Memorials may be made to Flood Relief Victims, c/o Clyde Central United Methodist Church, P. O.
