Harold Abel

Harold David Abel, age 62, of Meadowbrook Drive died Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of Glenn and Mary Lou Abel of Canton. David was owner and operator of Silhouette Hair Fashions for 36 years. His passions were hair, gardening, and listening to music. He was a loving individual and will be missed by all his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Pam Munson and her husband, Martin, of Williamsburg, VA; a sister, Brenda Abel of Candler; a brother, Doug Abel and his wife, Judy, of Canton; two nephews, Dale Shipman of Bellingham, WA and Michael Abel of Canton; a niece, Kristie White of Arden; three grandchildren, Ashley, Colby, and Jordan Munson; and a great-grandson, Chase Hudik. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1918 Murray Road, Canton, NC 28716.
