Harold Queen

Canton – William Harold Queen, age 76, formerly of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Harold was a native of Haywood County, and had resided in Henderson County for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late Ralph and Catherine "Tootie" Henson Queen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Queen, who died in 2006. He was a US Army veteran. He retired from Dupont in 1994 with 28 years of service. Harold was an avid golfer and was a member of Glen Cannon County Club. He is survived by two sons, Jonathan Queen and his wife, Eileen, of Superior Township, Michigan, and Joel Queen of Columbia, South Carolina; a sister, Linda Roberts and her husband, Daron, of Canton; four grandchildren, Samantha, Allen, Nicholas and Nathan Queen, and four great-grandchildren.. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Wells Funeral Homes of Canton. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
