Waynesville, Harry Lee Booker, Jr., age 90, of Keller Street, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at his residence. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry Lee Booker, Sr. and Clara Heintz Booker. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Donald and Dorothy Elaine Booker and one stepson, James D. Rhodes. He was a US Army veteran of World War II having served in the European Theater in France and was a member of the American Legion for more than 40 years. Harry was a structural iron worker for 44 years and a member of Iron Workers Union Local 397 in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed reading, collecting coins, golf, as well as woodworking and was a member of Ninevah Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carol Powell Booker; two daughters, Barbara Price (Terry) of Franklin and Cheryl Lineberger (Wayne) of Lakeland, Florida; a stepdaughter, Amy Roberts (Tom) of Waynesville; one stepson, David Randy Rhodes, also of Waynesville; two grandchildren, Kelly Burrows (Lee) and Justin Lineberger (Heather); two great-grandchildren, Sidney Lineberger and Rachel and Hannah Burrows; three step-grandchildren, Patty, Hunter, and Summer Rhodes; and one step great-grandson, Camden David Rhodes.
