Harvey Failen, Sr.

Harvey Ronald Failen, Sr. age, 74, of Ridgeview Acres, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center. A native of Bath, SC, he was the son of of the late Enoch and Lulla Minor Failen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, E.T. Failen. He was a US Army veteran. Harvey loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife, Jearline Willard Failen; a son, Mitchell Failen, of Candler; one sister, Helen Brown, and her husband, Pete of Gastonia; one granddaughter, Jennifer R. Moody and one great-granddaughter, Briann Michell Moody. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
