Hazel Pace

Canton- Hazel Minnie Pace - age 75 of Matthews, North Carolina, a former resident of Haywood County, died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie F. and Lillie Mae Thomas Pace and was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Kell, Lucille Simpson and Fannie Rogers and five brothers, Claude, Haywood, Willis, Fred and Charles Pace. Mrs. Pace enjoyed arts, crafts, crocheting and cooking. She is survived by two sisters, Della Watson and Carrie Farmer both of Canton; special niece Peggy Hannah and her daughter Tamara Stern of Charlotte and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Tracy Kirkpatrick and Reverend David Kell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
