Helen Hollifield

Helen Louise Hollifield, 76, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on September 8th, 2015. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Elkins and Norma Roberts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jennifer Westall.
Helen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry Newlin Hollifield; son, Randy Hollifield; daughter Teresa Banks, and husband, David;grandchildren Jason Westall and Megan Stone; siblings James Elkins, Patricia Hodges and Donald Elkins. She was Mother, Nana and Mamaw to many.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm on Thursday, September 10th in the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 11th at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler with Rev. Charlie Sams officiating.
