Henry Flannigan

Henry Weldon "Hank" Flannigan, age 65, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at his residence. He was a native of Decatur, IL and the son of the late Charles and Lillian Hughes Flannigan. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lea Denice Flannigan and two stepsons, Stephen Kelley Tramel and Paul Edward Reeves. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, Nola Meriweather Flannigan, he is survived by two daughters, Laura Charlene Correro of Ocean Side, CA and Tracey Darlene Jones of Yakima, WA; two stepdaughters, Karen Jenice Tramel and Kimberly Ann Wilson both of Candler; five sons, Ricky Dewayne Flanningan of Waveland, MI, Charles Weldon Flannigan of Asheville, Raymond Allen Flannigan of Bridge City , TX, Michael Lee Flannigan of Candler and Joseph Reed Flannigan of Fairview; two stepsons, Douglas Keith Tramel of Bridge City, TX and Christopher Kevin Tramel of Candler; a sister, Blanche Davis of Decatur, IL; four brothers Raymond Charles and Noel Flannigan of Decatur, IL and Bill Flannigan of FL; 31 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with the Reverend Phillip Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services of Canton. Pallbearers will be members of the Rocky Creek Band. At other times, the family will be at the home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716 or to one's favorite charity.
