Hilda Blaylock

Hilda Tabor Blaylock "1928 – 2014" Canton - Hilda Tabor Blaylock, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at The Homestead. A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Aslee Raxter Tabor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Birtho "Birt" Blaylock, who passed away in 1995. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Susan Cothran and her husband, Richard, of Canton, Lana Snider of Canton, and Linda Long and her husband, Steve, of Bean Station, TN; one son, James David Blaylock and his wife, Coleen, of Canton; two sisters, Sue Willis of Canton, and Charmie Walters of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Bill Tabor of White Pine, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Kelly, Randy, Brandon, and Bronson Long, Jennifer Cothran, Richard Cothran III, Katie and Aslee Blaylock, Tristan, and Aaron Snider; and eight great-grandchildren, Slade, Layla, Sebastian, Jennifer, Jonathan, Dylan, Havilynd, and Isabella. A graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family received friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. prior at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
