Hilda Rogers Sharp 

Hilda Rogers Sharp, 83, of Waynesville passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Autum Care of Waynesville. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Elizabeth Moore Rogers. In addition to her parents, she is also proceeded in death by her husband Tom Sharp and a brother Jimmy Rogers.

Hilda worked in curved hoses at Dayco and then at HVO. She was an active member of Allens Creek Baptist Church and member of the Ladies # 5 Sunday School Class and loved being a member of the Widows Group.

She is survived by her son Mike Moody, a brother, Bill Rogers (Faye), one grandson, Michael Keith (Amanda), and two great-grandsons, Tristan and Landan Keith.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Allens Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the services.
