Homer Clark

"1938 – 2016" Canton - Homer Reeves Clark, 78, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. A native and life-long resident of Canton, he was the son of the late Carl Clark and Mattie Glasscock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Brown Clark, who died in 2010 and his two sisters. Homer was a United States Navy Veteran. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, antiquing with his wife Violet, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by three sons, Phillip Clark, Brian Clark and wife, Wendy, and Paul Clark and wife, Trish, all of Canton; one sister, Martha Roberson; one brother Max Clark; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Entombment will follow at The Horizon at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
